When the time comes to take the next step with driving (no matter what age you may be); whether that is learning to drive or undertaking a PassPlus scheme, there are certain things that must be taken into careful consideration when choosing your Driving Instructor.
First of all, it is important to choose an Instructor who is reliable, calm and friendly. After all, learning to drive is largely based on feeling comfortable and ready to progress through each stage of learning.
Secondly, you want someone who is qualified and truly passionate about driving. Someone who will do their very best to make sure you are on the right track to becoming an excellent and safe driver, whether you are starting to drive for the first time or setting out to become an advanced driver.
Thirdly, your Driving Instructor should be:
- knowledgeable about current legislation;
- up-to-date about Driving Standards Agency current practices and’
- able to create a learning environment that is suited to you.
At Essandelle there is a complete focus on teaching new drivers, at a pace that they are comfortable with, to give confidence and ability. We believe that in teaching you to drive well you not only attain the standard required to pass your test, but also to drive well and safely for life. Some learner drivers attain test standard quickly and others take a little longer, whatever your pace we will encourage you to take your test as soon as you have reached the right standard to do so.
