Becoming an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) is life changing, rewarding and challenging. You become your own boss, work when it suits you, set your own level of income and have the freedom to take control of your working life - in fact your career is all about the choices you make. Whether you decide to join a driving school or run your business independently, one of the greatest pleasures you will derive from a career as a Driving Instructor is the diversity and variety of people you will come into contact with.

Then there are the choices about whether you want to focus on teaching novice drivers or whether to add Advanced Driver training, Fleet support or even ADI Training to your portfolio of skills as time progresses. BUT, following a career as a Driving Instructor is about much more than just teaching someone to drive. You will have responsibility for developing high standards of driving behaviour in new drivers, most of whom are likely to be young and inexperienced. You must have a strong regard for all the aspects of road safety; have a personal high standard of driving and instructional ability; be professional in your dealings with your pupils and be aware of your duty of care to your pupils and the representation of your profession.

We offer a high quality course of instruction to become a Driving Instructor, based on a very positive candidate success rate since 1999, that will enhance your own knowledge and expertise while broadening and developing your skills and experience.

If you are considering this as a career, or are currently undertaking training and require additional help our ADI Training course of instruction will provide you with all the tools you need to achieve success.

Our training packages provides you with flexibility in terms of:

your training timescale;
cost - dependent on whether we pick you up from your door or you travel to us;
staged payments if you prefer.

We offer a variety of Driving Instructor training packages tailored to meet the needs of people new to the industry as well as those who are established and seeking to develop existing skills and abilities. We do not currently offer either a Trainee Licence or Franchise guarantee on qualification, but we do assist you in finding suitable placements as a Trainee Licence holder or newly qualified ADI.

For qualified Driving Instructors we provide support for Continuous Professional Development (link to ADI Development) and Check Test training (link to Check Test).

We operate in Hampshire, East Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex, but if you live outside of our normal area we can provide you with a fee for training in your own area.

ADI TRAINING - FULL COURSE FEES

Our course fees are inclusive of initial assessment, all workbooks, one-to-one training and telephone support. Our courses are bespoke but very competitively priced.

Full course, based in your own area, will be quoted on an individual basis.

Please Note: You may pay for the Driving Instructor Training course in total or by individual section, i.e. Part 1, Part 2, Part 3. We recommend payment by individual section as full course fees are non-refundable if you decide, for whatever reason, not to continue with the course. Whichever option you choose, payment is required a minimum of 5 days ahead of commencement of each section, or Part 1 if you elect to pay for the full course.
